“What do you want?” she called out angrily, not recalling the voice at first. Her expression softened as she realized it was Ahadi, “Ah, helo Ahadi, How are you?”

Kiara squirmed and wriggled around as she was picked up again. Once she was dropped behind the slate, she frowned and tried to climb over it but she couldn’t. It was no use. She growled as she sat there. What had she done? She had disobeyed her parents again and this time she was in real trouble. She was in the Outlands with the lioness who hated her family most. She was surprised she was still alive. She wondered what Zira could possibly want with her and she sat up against the cold slate of rock, hoping her parents would show up soon to find her.

Zira sat near the entrance of the cave, glancing back at Kiara every few moment. “Soon Simba and Nala will be here I must prepare!” she grinned and laughed darkly. “You, go get a few of my strongest lionesses in case they decide to be foolish and try to fight against my demands,” she clicked her claws onto the ground, and the lioness walked off. Zira turned to Kiara while she waited, “Now, you’ll get to be with your mother and father very soon, but you may be relocating your home,” her eyes burned with angry thinking of the Pridelanders. Her plan was in effect and it would most definitely work. The lioness returned shortly with three lionesses. “Ah, Kuua, Wafu, Mahiri, good to see you…better than the other lionesses…” they were well-trained and fed something most lionesses lacked in the Outlands. “Stay here and wait with me for Nala and Simba’s arrival, the plan is in motion,” she grinned, her tail flicking in anticipation.
